Today's economy has left many schools with clubs and activities to fend for themselves to fund certain things which, for years, were paid for by our tax dollars. Since, as everyone knows by experience now, there are fewer dollars available to booster clubs and other clubs so we are all seeking inovative ideas to raise donations. Anyone out there willing to share what you / your group does to rais extra cash?

With the reduction of all
With the reduction of all state funding for schools across the board, schools are frequently being squeezed for money to pay their teachers, pay for classes, and fund extracurricular activities. I suggested a bake sale or something similar at my Texas technical school, but I believe that trade/technical schools don't have those types of issues just yet.

I saw the bulk mix at Sam's has a program to help funding.
Car wash
Yard sale.. everyone trades and gives. great for community too
Neighborhood crime watch gives donation in our area too.
Offer babysitting clubs/camp for schoolout days when parents work. Or after school activities to help with homework.. Title I gives that but many kids, like mine do not qualify because of demographics.
things to avoid imo expensive buyer catelogs. I hate those things.. I would just give $10 rather than spend it and the school get $1.50. a scam I think.
